Ruidoso is located on the Billy The Kid Scenic Byway which covers the area in which Billy the Kid lived. Capitan, New Mexico is home to Smokey Bear, with the Smokey Bear Historical Park.

We have three casinos, three public golf courses, hiking, fishing skiing in the winter and horse racing in the summer.
