We are a small, quaint resort catering to families and fishermen, hosted by Mike and Mary Bloomquist. Once you stay here, you will want to make it a yearly tradition.

Description Of Area:
The Hayward Lakes area is situated in the heart of the North woods. We are 13 miles east of Hayward, home of the Fishing Hall of Fame and site of the Lumberjack World Championship. There are hundreds of lakes to explore, including the Chippewa Flowage, which is less than a mile from our resort. The Chequamegon National Forest is five miles from here, with thousands of acres of trails to explore.

Description Of Property:
Our resort is on a nice, level shore of Callahan Lake. We have 500 feet of frontage with a sandy beach and plenty of docks to fish from. The cabins are from 15 to 25 yards from the water. Callahan Lake is 107 acres and 20ft. deep. It is connected to Mud Lake, a 456 acre, 15ft. deep lake with most of the shoreline undeveloped. These lakes are excellent for musky and large mouth bass.

Description Of Room / Suite:
All cabins are modern housekeeping, carpeted and completely furnished. They include automatic gas heat, stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, shower, blankets and linens (except personal and beach towels). Each cabin comes with one row boat and a private dock.

Rates And Availability:
Cabins are rented by the week during peak summer months (June, July, and August). The week goes from Saturday to Saturday, and we honor returning guests first option to rent their cabin the following year. We will rent the cabins per day during off-peak months or peak months depending on availability. We have (2) four bedroom cabins that are $695.00 per week, up to six people, and (3) two bedroom cabins that are $625.00 per week,up to four people. All cabins will accommodate extra people at a rate of $10.00 per day per person.

A $150.00 deposit is required for each week of reservation Deposits are NOT refundable unless notified within 60 days. Balance due upon arrival.
